DIFFICULTY LEVEL:

The Chengwatana State Forest is located approximately twelve miles east of Pine City Minnesota. The Chengwatana offers much to everyone. Such as; Camping, hiking trails, horseback riding trails, and of course, ATV and OHM trails. There is approximately 12 miles of trail dedicated to ATV and OHM riding.

Most of these trails fall into the category of "More Difficult" as defined by the Minnesota DNR. These trails will take you through forested upland islands surrounded by marsh and brush. The Kettle, Snake, and St. Croix, Rivers flow through the Chengwatana State Forest. This off road adventure will provide riders with a more aggressive and challenging ride along some very scenic trails.

This OHV trail connects with the Willard Munger State Trail. Snowmobiles and Hikers can access the St. Croix State Park Trails from here.

Be prepared to see; Coyotes, White Tail Deer, Eagles, Grouse, Woodcock, and many other forms of Wildlife.

Please remember, these trails are shared by others. "Tread Lightly" This will ensure a continued future for the sport of ATV Riding. ATV and OHV Trails in Minnesota are under huge debates, please help to protect what the Minnesota DNR has provided for us off road enthusiasts.
